If you are familiar with this TV program by Paula Zahn,  she is doing a story on my daughter Shelley's life and death. It will preview sometime in the near future. Please tune in if you can so you can see her artwork and the story of her life. I hope it turns out well and that everyone can see what a wonderfully talented, beautiful young woman she was.

Coming up on 4 years since Shelley was killed. Missing her just as much now as I did then.
Happy birthday
Ms. Nance,
I didn't know your daughter personally, but I can tell she was an amazing girl, with amazing friends, an amazing family and an amazing mother. I know how it feels to lose someone close to you, and I know it hurts. A lot.
I know you don't know me, but I'll be here for you.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I really am.
Shelley will forever be missed.
thank you so much. It will soon be two years since she was killed and it still feels like yesterday. The hurt never goes away.
we still care. she was a beautiful girl with a big heart and an aspiring artist with loads of talent.
may your heart mend swiftly as parents should never be the ones to outlive their own children. this is indeed a terrible tragedy.
though it's a shame that someone with such amazing potential and shining personality has been taken far too soon, know that she is never really gone or forgotten so long as she is kept in memories and hearts, as i know she is.
Your daughter was a wonderful person. I'm so sorry that I can't trade places with her.
We have officially created the Shelley Nance memorial art Scholarship to be awarded to a senior at Italy High School in 2011 majoring in art. If you wish to make a donation, send checks to Citizens National Bank, P. O. Box 717, Waxahachie, Tx 75168. All donations will be greatly appreciated.
